Day 1:
Arrive – Delhi
Meet assistance on arrival & transfer to hotel. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 2:
Delhi - Mandawa
Morning, drive to Mandawa. En route sightseeing of Mukandgarh.
Check in hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Mandawa. Mandawa, founded
in 1775 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants
has beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. Mandawa Castle,
one of the finest castles of Rajasthan is now a hotel and houses
a collection of armouries, costumes of ancestors and cannons in
a museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3:
Mandawa - Bikaner
Morning, drive to Bikaner. Arrive Bikaner and check in
at hotel. Afternoon city tour. Bikaner City is bolstered by imposing
walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples
and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished
by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial
windows of varying designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace,the Palace
hotel with a museum and Deshnoke Rat Temple. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4:
Bikaner - Khimsar
Morning drive to Khimsar. Arrive Khimsar and check in
at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing at Khimsar. Founded 2500 years
ago by the Jain Saint Mahaveer this is the starting point of the
great Indian Desert. The founder of the castle which was built
in mid 15th century was Prince Karamsi. Well managed Khimsar Fort
provides the visitors with all modern amenities- 50 luxuriously
furnished rooms, theme dinners, a variety of continental and Indian
meals as well as traditional Rajasthani meals. Evening jeep safari
to sand dunes for a sunset view. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5:
Khimsar - Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon city sightseeing. Jodhpur, stronghold of the fierce
Rathore clan was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit one of
the most impressive forts of India, the Mehrangarh Fort, situated
on top of a hill. Within the fort visit Moti- Mahal and Phool
Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built
in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh in 1899 and the Umaid Public
Gardens. Overnight at hotel.
Day 6:
Jodhpur - Kishangarh
Morning, drive to Kishangarh. via Pushkar (Ajmer). En
route visit Ajmer (Dargah Ajmer Sharif). Continue drive on to
Pushkar. Visit the holy ghats of Pushkar and the unique Brahma
Temple. Arrive Kishangarh and check in at hotel. The majestic
fort of Kishangarh and the deep moat surrounding it forms its
backdrop while the vast Gundalao Lake with its myriad bird life
in front. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7:
Kishangarh - Kuchaman
Morning drive to Kuchaman. Arrive Kuchaman and check in
at hotel. Travel back in time whilst the trip to the magnificent
fort. The Kuchaman Fort has successive layers of timeless history
perfectly preserved frozen in rock and time. Feel the glory of
the battles won at the main entrance to the Kuchaman Fort, the
Panch Pole. The five gates so arranged in a series that it is
impossible for enemies to enter without being attacked from every
direction. Overlook a bustling city from 1000 feet and shop in
its fabulous Meena bazaar, the market place of princesses and
queens, which lies at the base of the fort. Swim in the unique
200 year old underground swimming pool with its lofty arches and
galleries, or in the two other modern pools.
Day 8:
Kuchaman - Jaipur
Morning, drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon city tours of bazaars. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9:
Jaipur
Morning, drive to Khimsar. Arrive Khimsar and check in
at hotel. Khimsar is steeped in history- founded 2500 years ago
by the Jain Saint Mahaveer, this is the starting point of the
great Indian Desert tours. The founder of the castle, which was
built in mid 15th century was Prince Karamsi, son of Jodhpur and
very close to other places of interest like Osian and Nagaur.
Well managed Khmisar Fort provides the visitors with all modern
amenities- 50 luxuriously furnished rooms, theme dinners, a variety
of continental and Indian meals as well as traditional Rajasthani
meals are available. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:
Jaipur - Delhi
Morning, excursion to Amber Fort, the ancient capital
of the state until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory
glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend
on elephant back, the hill on which the fort is situated. Drive
past Hawa Mahal , the palace of winds and through the pink rose
residential / business areas of Jaipur. Back to the hotel. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 11:
Delhi
After breakfast the day is free for personal activities.
Transfer to the international airport for flight to onward journey.
